Vistry Group will market the private homes at the site via its portfolio of brands.
The project combines two renovated buildings with one newly developed building.
The development consists of 64 one-bedroom and six two-bedroom flats.
Countryside Partnerships, in collaboration with Paradigm, will be delivering the new homes.
The projects are expected to ease congestion and improve connectivity on Bongao Island.
The development is set to inject approximately £12m a year into the Manchester economy.
