Yourway, an integrated biopharmaceutical courier service firm, has commenced construction of a major expansion building at its headquarters in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
The new facility will feature dedicated temperature-controlled production rooms for clinical trials kitting services and GMP packaging.

It will also include approximately 100-bed advanced Phase I clinical trials unit.
The expansion building will add approximately 3,500 additional pallet locations of 2-8 °C refrigerated space and increase Allentown campus’s footprint to over 300,000ft2.
It will extend Yourway’s temperature-controlled storage capacity that include 15–25 °C, 2–8 °C, –20 °C, –80 °C, and –180 °C.
The company stated that the new facility will address the increasing demand for temperature-controlled services for clinical trials that include biologics, cell and gene therapies, as well as other advanced modalities.
It also noted that the construction of 1,000 new pallet locations at 2–8 °C that is part of first phase of the expansion, is already completed.
