The Woolpert-Black & Veatch joint venture (JV) has secured a $94.5m contract from the US Army Corps of Engineers Europe District (USACE).
Under the five-year contract, the JV will be providing architecture, engineering, master-planning, and design services across 30 European countries.
The contract, expected to conclude by September 2029, will focus on military installations and infrastructure.
This marks the second consecutive selection for Woolpert and Black & Veatch for this shared-capacity contract, previously awarded in 2019.
Woolpert vice-president and federal market director Doug Brown said: “We look forward to continuing and furthering our relationship with USACE Europe by applying our expert, full spectrum of AE services and capabilities to support and enable vital US defence and security capabilities and mission sets across Europe.”
Black & Veatch federal client segment and mission-critical solutions head Rick Kaiser added: “This is a critical contract win and represents the continued trust that USACE Europe has put in our Woolpert-Black & Veatch team to complete high-profile and complex planning projects across the European theatre.

In October this year, Woolpert expanded its global reach by acquiring Greenbox Architecture, an Australian company specialising in interior and exterior design services for data centres and commercial, healthcare, and residential clients.
This deal is expected to enhance the capabilities and resources of both companies.
Additionally, in June 2022, the US Army Corps of Engineers Norfolk District appointed the Woolpert and RS&H JV for a $240m contract.
The five-year, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract involves designing vertical and horizontal building necessities within the Norfolk district’s area of responsibility.
