Following completion, the road will have six lanes. This contract is worth $111m.

Ferrovial will also widen a 7.2km stretch between FM 2514 and Parker Road in Collin County.

This contract is worth $50.4m.

The fourth project in Bulverde requires the company to widen a 4km stretch of State Highway 46 from two to six lanes. The work covers upgrading storm drains and diverting a gas pipeline.

With the latest awards, Webber is now working on 51 heavy civil projects, in Texas, Georgia, Virginia and North Carolina.

Last month, Ferrovial, in a consortium with Gamuda Australia, won a contract to construct the Coffs Harbour Bypass in New South Wales of Australia.

The contract carries a reference value of $1.53bn (A$ 2.2bn).
