Hoffmann, the Danish subsidiary of Veidekke, has entered into a strategic four-year framework agreement with the Danish Building and Property Agency for design-and-build projects.

The agreement, commencing in 2025, is expected to have a total volume of DKr6bn ($841m).

Hoffmann will aim to ensure safe and efficient construction project execution, promoting a collaborative approach with fewer contracts and interfaces.

The agreement allows for all construction projects valued at over Dkr3m to be executed under this framework.

This strategic move is anticipated to streamline processes for the Danish state’s largest property company, which is responsible for developing premises for the police, universities, courts, and central administration.

Each project falling under this agreement will be accounted for in Veidekke’s order book during the quarter it is signed.

Danish Building and Property Agency acting director Signe Primdal Lyndrup said: “We are pleased to enter into this agreement with Hoffmann.

“It is an important milestone for the Building and Property Agency, and we look forward to entering into a cooperation model where we find good solutions together, and where learning can be transferred from project to project, with a focus on delivering buildings to the agreed budget, time and quality.”

Hoffmann CEO Torben Bjørk Nielsen said: “The agency is pioneering new forms of trust-based collaboration, featuring a precise execution model which ensures that we can supply buildings to the agreed budget, quality and time – thus succeeding together.”

Prior to this, Nordr chose Veidekke to construct an environmentally certified residential block in Trondheim, Norway.

Last month, Veidekke secured a major contract from Fornebubanen for the construction of new metro stations at Lysaker and Vækerø in Norway.
