Veidekke has been commissioned by Bara Eiendom to construct the new LINK office building in Kronstadparken, Bergen, Norway.
The project, valued at Nkr504m ($47.46m) excluding VAT, is a design-and-build contract that will see Veidekke as one of the future tenants.
Veidekke Bergen district manager Thor Småbrekke said: “We have enjoyed good, continuous collaboration with Bara Eiendom for 14 years and LINK will be the seventh office building in a row that we have built for them.
“We are grateful for this renewed confidence and at the same time we are looking forward to moving into what will be the largest building in Kronstadparken to date.”
The 16,400m² building will be an addition to the Kronstadparken complex, located between Fjøsangerveien (E39) and the Bergen Light Rail.
This eight-storey structure will feature two basement levels offering amenities such as cloakroom facilities, indoor cycle parking, and car parking spaces.
