UK-based water company United Utilities has appointed C2V, a joint venture between Jacobs and VolkerStevin, as the construction delivery partner for its new capital investment programme.
The programme is estimated to be worth approximately $3.8bn and is set to run from 2025 to 2030, with an option to extend until 2035.
C2V will be responsible for providing project management, design, construction, and commissioning services for a range of capital projects under the initiative.
These projects will encompass water and wastewater treatment, pumping stations, reservoirs, bioresources, and energy.
The collaboration between United Utilities and all organisations within the specialist framework aims to form an integrated delivery organisation to deliver these projects.
United Utilities capital delivery director Jane Simpson said: “We’re really excited that we have secured some strong delivery partners to ensure we can deliver on our ambitious plans to transform infrastructure and services in the North West [England].
