Its workforce of 1,000 direct employees is projected to deliver work worth approximately $760m in 2024.

The company’s backlog of work currently stands at around $1.2bn.

The integration of Dornan and Turner is expected to create a combined entity of considerable scale within Europe, offering an expanded range of services.

Turner is a builder of advanced technology projects in North America.

It has been extending its services in Europe, with ongoing projects in the Netherlands and Spain.

Turner Construction Company president and CEO Peter Davoren said: “The combination of Turner and Dornan will enable us to offer a broader range of services and solutions that our clients seek in Europe.”

Clients are also increasingly seeking services from Turner’s global supply chain business, SourceBlue.

SourceBlue helps clients navigate supply chain challenges, ensuring greater certainty in project schedules, budgets, and outcomes.

Dornan CEO Brian Acheson said: “Our clients will continue to enjoy the same level of superior service as we deliver complex technical projects within time and on budget.

“They will also benefit from the increased scale of Dornan as part of a combined group with over $18bn of turnover. Similarly, our employees will find increased opportunity provided by Turner to grow Dornan.”
