Tri Pointe Homes, an American homebuilder, has initiated the construction of The Crossings at Lake Creek, a new community in Heber City, Utah, US.
The planned community will include an estimated 139 single-family homes, with the first properties expected to open for sale in mid-2025.
The Crossings is strategically located to provide ‘convenient’ commutes to local employment centres in Salt Lake City, Park City, Provo, and beyond.
Tri Pointe’s home designs at The Crossings will feature up to eight bedrooms, outdoor living areas, and sizes up to 5,000ft² when including completed basements.
The community, located at 2732 E Hayloft, is also planned to offer a future clubhouse, pickleball courts, a neighbourhood pool, parks, a fishing pond, and 67 acres of open space and trails.
The ground-breaking ceremony was attended by Tri Pointe Homes leadership, including Ken Krivanec, division president for Tri Pointe Homes Washington and Utah, Bryon Prince, VP of Land Acquisition and Development for Tri Pointe Homes Utah, and Matt Cragun, VP of Operations for Tri Pointe Homes Utah.
Krivanec said: “This ground-breaking marks an exciting milestone in our journey to building new homes and introducing our premium lifestyle brand to Utah homebuyers.
“With a focus on delivering an exceptional customer experience and elevated home design, we are proud to bring our unique approach to this new market. Our new office in the Sugar House area will also be home to our design studio and underscores our commitment to the Beehive State.”
The company’s expansion to Utah was first announced in September 2023, with additional communities set to open in other cities, including West Jordan and Holladay.
This development is part of Tri Pointe Homes’ larger strategy to increase its presence in the US market, which also includes recent expansions into the Coastal Carolinas and Florida.
This includes the acquisition of 178 single-family detached homesites in the Sugarloaf Mountain planned community in Minneola, Florida, in November last year.
