Timberlab Holdings has entered into an agreement to acquire the assets of Diversified Wood Resources, operating under the name American Laminators, based in Oregon, US.
The acquisition will expand Timberlab’s operations in the region and support engineered wood products innovation.
As per the terms of the agreement, Timberlab will start operating glue-laminated timber (glulam) manufacturer American Laminators’ facilities in Drain and Swisshome from 10 June 2024.
The Drain and Swisshome sites use Douglas Fir and Alaskan Yellow Cedar to produce an annual capacity of 20 million feet of board.
Both facilities are set for operational upgrades aimed at product optimisation.
Diversified Wood Resources president Dave Anderson said: “This is a very exciting time for American Laminators and the future of our company. Timberlab’s culture and goals align with American Laminators.
