Britain construction firm Taylor Woodrow has inked a pre-construction services deal to support the construction of 10,000 homes at £6bn Meridian Water development in London, UK.
Under the contract, Taylor Woodrow will provide support in the design development of strategic infrastructure to deliver the housing scheme.
As part of the 12-month design development phase, the construction firm will work with design partner Watermans to develop a sustainable design and construction solution for the project and commence early engagement with supply chain partners.
The design development phase will be followed by a two-year construction programme to deliver the key phase in the transformational plan.
The £90m project will include the remediation of the existing site and construction of roads, bridges and flood mitigation measures; as well as electricity, gas, communications, water connections and new landscaped parkland areas.
