Société du Grand Paris has awarded a contract to a joint venture to develop 17 service structures on the south-east stretch of the Line 15 of the Grand Paris Express transport network in France.
The joint venture is made up of Vinci Construction and VINCI Energies subsidiaries along with Chantiers Modernes Construction, CBI, Cegelec and SDEL Infi.
The service structures will be built between the Noisy-Champs and Créteil l’Échat stations, and will help ensure the safety of passengers and maintain the upcoming Grand Paris Express line.
Work on these structures already began last month and is scheduled to complete in about 59 months.
The contract, worth €65m ($78.2m), involves structural work, metalwork, locksmithery besides electrical systems, plumbing and heating, ventilation and air conditioning.
During the peak work phase, the project is expected to provide employment to more than 200 people.

In November 2020, Adim Est, a subsidiary of VINCI Construction France, delivered the final building of NoLiStra project in the east of France.
Constructed by Urban Dumez, another VINCI Construction France subsidiary, NoLiStra forms a new district in Strasbourg.
The NoLiStra project is located at the heart of the Eurometropolis of Strasbourg, and features eight buildings spanning almost 22,000m2 that combine housing, offices, retail spaces and a hotel.
