Construction firm Skanska has been selected as the main contractor by an independent developer Nord to build One Portwall Square, a new office building in Bristol city centre, UK.
To be built in the heart of Bristol’s commercial district, the new office building is a six-storey, 33,750ft² development.
It will be constructed next to Bristol City Council’s own 100 Temple Street office and 400m from Temple Meads Station.
The new office building, designed by Architect Allford Hall Monaghan Morris (AHMM), will feature terraces on every floor, opening windows throughout the building, passive in-slab cooling system and super high ceilings to provide.
It will also provide comfort cooled workspaces with quality daylight, fresh air and outdoor space.
Nord founder Richard Jones said: “We look forward to delivering a best in class new commercial scheme unique for Bristol.

The One Portwall Square is pledged to have sustainability, energy efficiency and connectivity and will be constructed to achieve BREEAM Excellent and EPC Rating A standards.
Skanska said that the new scheme has achieved WiredScore Certification Platinum and CyclingScore Certification Platinum.
