Skanska has secured a contract to revamp and extend an academic health and wellness facility in New Jersey, US.
The $72m (about SEK710m) contract will be registered by the company in the US order bookings for Q3 2022.

The company will be responsible for demolition, reconstruction and an expansion to the current facility.
It will also deliver additional recreation spaces focused on enhancing the health and well-being of the students and the larger campus community.
Construction is underway, with completion anticipated in March 2025.
Last month, the company received a contract from RWJBarnabas Health to build an ambulatory care cancer centre in Livingston, New Jersey.

Totaling 13,000 gross m2, the five-storey building on the Cooperman Barnabas Medical Centre campus is designed to support care and wellbeing of patients.
The new facility will offer outpatient cancer treatment, and feature four new linear accelerators and an MRI unit.
Skanska will also construct a parking garage.
Construction of the building has commenced and is slated for completion in July 2025.
