
Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino has opened a 36-storey electric guitar-shaped hotel in Florida, US, which forms part of a $1.5bn resort expansion.
The 450ft hotel comes with 638 new luxury guest rooms.
Designed to resemble back-to-back guitars, complete with guitar faces and brightly lit strings, the engineering masterpiece is outfitted with floor-to-ceiling glass panes.
The expansion also features a refurbished venue for concerts and other events, an expanded and updated casino with 195,000ft² of gaming space, and a 13.5-acre pool and lagoon.
It also houses a 42,000ft² ultra-luxury spa and fitness centre, a DAER nightclub and day club complex, more than 24 dining, lounge and entertainment options, a collection of retail stores and over 150,000ft² of meeting space.
Adjacent to the Guitar Hotel is the new seven-storey, 168-room Oasis Tower, which offers exclusive swim-up suites overlooking the lagoon and a private pool area.

Seminole Gaming CEO and Hard Rock International chairman Jim Allen said: “The Guitar Hotel will attract visitors from throughout the nation and around the globe.
“They will experience a world-class entertainment, gaming and dining destination.”
Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood is the casino resort of Hard Rock International, owned by the Seminole Tribe of Florida.
The integrated resort is situated on 87 acres of the Hollywood Seminole Reservation along State Road 7, (U.S. Highway 441).
