Rogers Real Estate Development has introduced the design of its M3 tower to be constructed in collaboration with Urban Capital and IBI Group at M City in Mississauga, Toronto, Canada.
Claimed to be the tallest building in Mississauga, the 851ft-high, 81-storey building will have 900 residential units ranging between 480ft² and 1,000ft².
The tower will house an amenity pavilion with an indoor pool and gymnasium for residents. The ground floor of the tower will feature a wraparound café, along with a linear park.
Rogers Real Estate communications chair Edward Rogers said: “M City is the first residential development for the Rogers Family and we are thrilled to once again be partnering with the City of Mississauga. Our goal is to develop a world-class community befitting any city in the world. The unveiling of M3 is a significant step towards that goal.
“Today’s announcement demonstrates our unwavering belief in this city and continued commitment to delivering cutting-edge design that resets expectations of what the future of development looks like in Mississauga.”
Canadian design firm IBI Group Architects has designed the tower featuring a slender form and a ‘subtle twist’ at the top and bottom of the tower.
The design also includes a sloped crown at the top and a ‘dynamic facade’ with sawtooth balconies.
Around 1,570 residential units on the M1 and M2 towers of the M City community are under construction phase and are expected to complete in a few months.
