“It will be a central meeting place for the benefit of everyone in the municipality and we look forward to continuing to work with Peab.”

The project will include reconstructing the existing 2,300m² building and adding 2,500m² of area.

The added space will house a competition pool, slide, training and therapy pool, diving tower, and wellness area encompassing a whirlpool bath, cold pool, and sauna.

Construction is expected to commence soon, with completion of the project set for December 2025.

“It will contribute to the quality of life of Vestvågøy residents and at the same time have a ripple effect on other industries in the municipality.”
