Peab has secured a turnkey contract to construct apartments, offices, and a garage in Jönköping, Sweden.
The Skr368m ($35.12m) development was commissioned by Brandtornet for the apartments and Hamhus for the office building.
The site, situated near Jönköping University in the city’s western segment, is currently a car park accommodating approximately 150 spaces.
Brandtornet managing director Joachim Nilforsen said: “We’re convinced that Jönköping with its unique location will continue to grow. To be part of this development of Jönköping and create new rental apartments feels incredibly stimulating.”
Peab will be responsible for the creation of two connected buildings and a courtyard, as well as a large, shared underground garage on new block Grävlingen.
The residential building will offer 191 apartments ranging from one to three-bedroom units and will encompass kitchen rental apartments.
