Peab, a Nordic community builder, has secured a project to renovate 146 apartments in Tromsø, Norway, by Rundvannet Borettslag.
The contract, valued at Nkr109m ($10.16m), encompasses renovations across ten blocks, including facade replacements, new doors and windows, upgraded insulation, and expanded balconies.
The apartments were completed in 1980 and are situated near a range of nurseries, a shop, a swimming pool, a primary school, and a sports hall.
The project will be executed while residents remain in their apartments.
Emphasis will be placed on maintaining high standards of health, environmental considerations, and safety to ensure smooth progress.
Scheduled to commence this month and conclude by August 2026, this project is a traditional contract and will be order-registered in the third quarter of 2024.
