UK-based Mossessian Architecture has secured planning permission to commence work on Google‘s 11-storey office building at King’s Cross, London.
Camden Council has granted the permission for the construction of Google’s futuristic S2 office building.

The 180,000ft² property will have a large roof terrace, providing a view of the city.
It will come up just a few hundred metres away from Google Glass store, which is now closed.
The work is expected to complete by 2017.
Techworld has reported that the tech company has agreed to a lease of 15 years for S2 at approximately £55 per square foot.

By GlobalDataDezeen quoted Google director of real estate and construction Joe Borrett in a statement, saying: "We are very excited to be moving forward with a successful planning permission for S2, a Mossessian Architecture and Argent development building.
"This achievement further cements Google’s expansion in King’s Cross and that Google sees King’s Cross as its future home for Google London."
In 2013, Google had announced its plans to construct a new £1bn headquarters in the UK by 2016.
The project has been delayed as the tech company was not satisfied with the design submitted by AHMM, reported Businessinsider.com.
