NBCC India has secured multiple contracts totalling nearly Rs1.38bn ($16.60m) for construction projects in Jharkhand and Delhi, India.
The state-owned company disclosed this development in a recent stock exchange filing.
The company has been awarded a total of five work orders, four of which are from Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti.
NBCC will undertake the construction of Phase-B for JNV Palamu-II in Jharkhand as a project management consultancy (PMC) on a deposit work basis.
The project’s cost is estimated at Rs100m, although the completion timeline remains undecided.
In Delhi meanwhile, Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti has awarded NBCC a domestic contract for constructing Phase-A and Phase-B for JNV East Delhi, with an estimated cost of Rs422m.

The fifth order, from the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India, involves the renovation of additional office space on the seventh floor of Mayur Bhawan, New Delhi.
This project is estimated to cost Rs23.5m.
NBCC was founded in 1960 as a Government of India Civil Engineering Enterprise.
It operates in three segments, namely PMC, engineering procurement and construction (EPC), and real estate development.
Under PMC orders the company executes projects and redevelopment projects for the government while for the EPC segment it constructs chimneys and cooling towers.
