The Southeast regional team of McShane Construction has been commissioned by National Church Residences to construct an affordable living community for older residents in Union City, Georgia, US.
This 80-unit development, known as Crossing Pointe, is designed to cater to the housing needs of older members of society, offering a range of amenities and sustainable features.
Positioned on a 4.5-acre site at 7422 Red Oak Road, the four-storey wood-frame building is designed by Foley Design, featuring a facade that combines brick veneer and siding.
Each of the 80 units will comprise one bedroom and one bathroom, solid surface countertops, kitchen appliances, and luxury vinyl plank flooring.
Residents of Crossing Pointe will have access to a variety of amenities, including a community room with a warming kitchen, a fitness room, a computer centre, and more.
In line with contemporary sustainable building practices, the property is designed to achieve National Green Building Standard Bronze Certification.
