Larsen & Toubro‘s Energy Hydrocarbon division (LTEH) has secured two orders, one onshore and one offshore, from an unnamed major client in the Middle East.
The orders are valued between Rs10bn ($120.33m) and Rs25bn.
The onshore project involves the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of an enclosed ground-flare system.
It will also include the demolition of existing facilities, aimed at minimising visual impact on nearby residential developments.
Meanwhile, the offshore order will see LTEH undertake brownfield work, which includes upgrading shutdown systems on existing offshore platforms.
The order comes after LTEH received a letter of intent for a ‘Mega’ offshore project in the Middle East in November last year.
