
India-based multinational conglomerate Larsen & Toubro’s (L&T) Buildings & Factories unit has received several construction orders.
L&T did not reveal the exact order amount of these projects, although it categorised them as large. Orders are considered as large if they are worth between Rs25bn ($300m) and Rs50bn ($600m).
The company has obtained a construction contract to develop a residential township in the Indian city of Bengaluru.
Scope of this project includes the construction of 3,627 apartment units spanning 19 towers with three basements, 23 to 41 floors. It will feature 88 villas, swimming pools, clubhouses, and other amenities.
This project will cover a total built-up area of 9.7million ft².
Under another order secured, the company will build commercial towers in Hyderabad, Telangana.
