Real estate company Lincoln Property has unveiled plans for a new community retail centre, The Shoppes at The Gathering, in Alpharetta, Georgia, US.

The 43,700ft² development will feature seven buildings, spanning from 4,225ft² to 8,400ft². It is scheduled for delivery in the fourth quarter of 2026.

Site construction for the project, which is part of The Gathering-Alpharetta mixed-use community, has already started. Vertical construction is set to begin later this year.

The Shoppes at The Gathering will offer a range of spaces for single or multiple retailers.

Designed with Napa Valley-inspired architecture, its location along Haynes Bridge Road and the inclusion of an outdoor gathering lawn for events and live music are expected to make it a key destination in North Fulton County.

The residential portion of The Gathering, developed by Brock Built, is progressing with single-family homes and townhomes.

Residents will have access to amenities such as a community garden, green spaces, and the Alpha Loop, enhancing connectivity to key points in the region.

The addition of The Shoppes at The Gathering will complement the existing amenities by offering a combination of dining, entertainment, and service options.

The development aims to create a walkable environment that integrates with the Alpha Loop, benefiting both residents and visitors.

Lincoln executive vice president and Atlanta market leader Tony Bartlett said: “Alpharetta has become Atlanta’s most desirable suburban town with a growing population that is poised to benefit from The Shoppes at The Gathering.

“The development’s proximity to downtown Alpharetta offers walkability in a traditionally suburban market and will help us curate the development and attract best-in-class local and national retailers and eateries looking to expand their footprint or enter this growing market.”

In December 2024, Lincoln Property was chosen as the development partner for the Cleveland Browns’ new entertainment district in Brook Park, Ohio.
