US-based housing provider Liberty Military Housing has commenced a new round of renovation projects to provide improved housing to military families in the Mid-Atlantic region of the country.
The funds will be used for redevelopment, significant renovations, external restoration, and outdoor infrastructure projects such as family playgrounds, motorways, and other land upgrades.
The redevelopment efforts total $120m and will be delivered to 12 military housing communities.
Associated works will include delivering kitchen and bathroom interior improvements, which will feature new and improved finishes alongside items such as kitchen cabinets, quartz worktops, ENERGY-STAR-certified appliances, bathroom fixtures, improved LED lighting, and fresh paint.
Furthermore, many of the communities are set to replace old playgrounds with updated playground equipment. Once completed, these land improvements will support thousands of military families across the region.
Liberty has already allocated the funds for many projects that will be carried out over the following years.
