Hoffmann Green Cement Technologies has announced a commercial partnership with Béton Contrôle de l’Estuaire (BCE), an entity of the Duclos Group.

The agreement, running until December 2027, will see Hoffmann Green Cement’s 0% clinker cement products being supplied to BCE’s network of ready-mix concrete plants.

Duclos Group head Jean-Pierre Duclos said: “The signing of this agreement with Hoffmann Green and the use of 0% clinker cement demonstrate our commitment to adopting innovative and sustainable practices in our production process, while ensuring the quality of our concrete.

“The use of Hoffmann cements enables us to combine the Duclos Group’s two main commitments: customer satisfaction and environmental protection.”

BCE is a producer of a range of ready-mix concretes, including foundation, paving, and decorative types.

Established in 2005, the company has four concrete plants situated in Charente-Maritime and northern Gironde in France.

With a fleet of 31 truck-mixers, BCE aims to deliver sustainable concrete products to meet customer demand with daily deliveries.

The cement supplied to BCE is intended to be used to produce various concrete products distributed across the Charente-Maritime region and its neighbouring departments.

Hoffmann Green Cement Technologies co-founders Julien Blanchard and David Hoffmann said: “This new commercial partnership with Béton Contrôle de l’Estuaire, a leading producer of ready-mix concrete in Charente-Maritime, demonstrates our shared commitment to decarbonising the concrete production and construction sector.

“We are delighted to be partnering with a company committed to sustainable practices in its production process, which enables us to reaffirm our presence with regional players in the Grand Ouest region.”

Last month, Hoffmann Green Cement began the construction of H-KSA 1, its inaugural unit in Saudi Arabia.
