GMI Construction Group has announced reaching the topping-out stage in the construction of upcoming units at the MIRA Tech Park (MTP), an automotive research and development cluster in the UK.
The company received the £16m ($20.94m) contract to construct the units at the MTP in March this year.
The development is a collaboration between the MTP and Evans Randall Investors, with Swanvale Developments managing the project delivery.
Swanvale Developments managing director Andy Macdonald said: “The topping out of Plot 9 marks a key milestone in the delivery of the next wave of new facilities at MIRA Tech Park with the building setting new benchmark standards.
“We are very pleased that GMI have reached this stage of construction ahead of programme, to facilitate the continued growth of Warwick Acoustics within one of the units.”
The contract is part of a master plan to expand the tech park, which is adjacent to the HORIBA MIRA test track.
