Fusion21 has announced the successful appointment of suppliers to its national Building Improvements Framework, valued at up to £346m ($440m) over four years.
Following a competitive tender process, a total of 70 specialist companies, with 74% being classed as small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), have been selected to support a range of public sector-based organisations.
These organisations mainly include housing, education, and healthcare.
The framework, designed to facilitate a variety of internal and external building improvements, has been expanded to include four new lots.
The companies will also work to deliver a wide range of services, including window, kitchen, and bathroom installations, as well as roofing and insulation works, ensuring comprehensive building improvements for public sector entities.
Fusion21 Operations executive director Peter Francis said: “In response to member and supply chain feedback and in line with the proposed updates to the Decent Homes Standard, the renewed framework now covers even more aspects of building improvement.
