American football franchise the Denver Broncos have revealed their plans to build a new advanced training facility and team headquarters in Englewood, Colorado, US.
The project is projected to carry a value of approximately $175m, reported 9News.
The training facility will span more than 320,000ft² on Denver’s 26-acre campus and will be located on the team’s existing Centura Health Training Center site.
Meanwhile, the new headquarters will occupy more than 205,000ft² of space across three floors and be situated to the west of the existing facility.
It will also feature an additional 21,000ft² of player space, which will comprise a larger locker room, conference rooms, a sports performance area, and other zones.
The facility will have underground parking, an open-air mezzanine for events, and a new berm on the campus’ east side.

By GlobalDataThe second floor of the property will be dedicated to football operations and the third floor to business operations.
Broncos owner and CEO Greg Penner said: “While we considered several options to modify our current facility, we decided to do this the right way by building a new player-centred headquarters with an efficient layout and the latest amenities.
“Having both our football and business operations on the same campus will foster a championship environment in pursuit of our goals on and off the field.”
Architects HOK and Rockwell Group worked on the design of the new facility.
On completion, the Broncos’ new buildings will transfer more than 70 of the franchise’s employees from their Empower Field at Mile High stadium.
The development follows months after the Broncos announced $100m in enhancements to the Empower Field stadium.
