Construction company DEC Infrastructure and Projects has emerged as the lowest bidder for the construction of Executive Enclave in India, Hindustan Times reported.
Executive Enclave is a part of the Central Vista redevelopment project in New Delhi that will feature Prime Minister’s Office, India House Cabinet Secretariat and National Security Council Secretariat.
A Central Public Works Department (CPWD) official told the publication that the firm quoted $150m (INR11.89bn) for the project, 10.44% less than the estimated cost of $170m (INR13.28bn).
The Executive Enclave is the fourth project to be tendered under the $1.69bn (INR135bn) Central Vista renovation project.
Larsen & Toubro and Tata Projects also submitted their bids, but these were higher than the estimated cost, said the official.
Bids for the Executive Enclave were first invited in November 2021. However, this project was re-tendered in May due to some additions.
