Coca-Cola Bottling Company UNITED has initiated the construction of a new sales and distribution centre in McComb, Mississippi, US.
Expected to be operational in 2025, the facility represents an investment of approximately $15m and will create approximately 70 jobs and serve as a strategic hub for the region.
The forthcoming Coca-Cola McComb sales centre will occupy 12 acres in Gateway Industrial Park, strategically located off the Interstate 55 motorway.
The centre will comprise a warehouse, sales, and office spaces. It is expected to play a crucial role in distributing products to customers and other Coca-Cola facilities across South Mississippi and parts of Louisiana.
McComb Coca-Cola Sales Center manager Barney Albritton said: “We are proud to call mayor [Quordiniah] Lockley, the Pike County Board of Supervisors and other local and state officials partners in our mission to better serve our associates, customers and communities.
“Our new home here in McComb will enable us to provide a higher level of service for years to come.”
