The centre will also feature kitchen equipment, signage, plumbing, ventilation, electrical power, lighting, and telecommunications infrastructure.

Construction details include shallow, reinforced concrete foundations, slabs, walls, floors, and roofs.

External works will involve grading, landscaping, walkways, fencing, and the installation of equipment and waste enclosures.

The project also includes the provision of sewer, water, electrical, and telecommunication utilities, and more.

Work is expected to commence in mid-2024, with completion anticipated by mid-2026.

The contract’s value will be included in Tutor Perini Corporation’s backlog from the second quarter of this year.

Last year, Black Construction’s unit Black Micro received a firm-fixed-price contract for the Tinian International Airport project on Tinian Island in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.

Black Micro is also a Guam-based subsidiary of civil, building, and speciality construction company Tutor Perini.
