Canadian real estate investment and development company Bertone Development has started construction of Kalm, a 225-unit rental real estate project in Candiac, Canada.

Located in close proximity to the Candiac train station, the eight-storey building will comprise rental units that will range from one- to three-bedroom apartments and include two-storey townhouses.

The project is part of the transit-oriented development district in the city and is being built nearby to the 110-unit Danaus condominium project, which was initiated earlier this year.

The Kalm project is being jointly designed by NEUF Architects and Metaphore Design. The development’s first units are planned for delivery in 2025.

The building will feature a boutique, hotel-style lobby. It will also comprise a fully equipped fitness centre, remote work and coworking spaces, a lounge, as well as an outdoor swimming pool and a ‘magnificent terrace’.

Bertone co-founder Michael Bertone said: “This prestigious project has been designed to create an ideal living environment for its residents. The many common areas and green spaces are what make Kalm an exceptional place to live.”
