GRAHAM Group, a privately owned construction and development company, has announced reaching a construction milestone with the topping out of the Bendigo Building, a new £70m student accommodation development in Nottingham’s Creative Quarter in the UK.
The Bendigo Building is being developed by Bricks Group, a property group, and will be operated by its subsidiary ‘true student’.
Located at the intersection of Bath Street and Brook Street, the overarching ‘true Nottingham’ development will stand as a 13-storey tower featuring 661 bedrooms.
This includes 417 studios, 208 cluster apartments, and 36 accessible rooms, all designed for students’ needs.
The development will offer a range of amenities such as a gym, festival zone, breakout areas, meeting rooms, a landscaped garden, and secure parking for cars and bicycles.
The project is stated to have already delivered £6m ($7.48m) in social economic returns, provided construction careers, and injected £8m into the local economy.
