Baiyu Holdings has signed an agreement with Adler International to construct a renewable energy free-trade zone and logistics park in Egypt.
The project will encompass a renewable energy industry free-trade zone in Cairo and a logistics park at the Port of Alexandria.
The renewable energy free-trade zone will cover approximately 6,667ha, while the logistics park will span about 200ha.
The Egyptian government has designated both areas as bonded free-trade zones, offering preferential policies and incentives for talent acquisition and training. This initiative aims to bolster Egypt’s renewable energy sector and logistics capabilities.
Baiyu will also offer supply chain procurement services for new energy vehicle manufacturing.
The vehicles produced will be exported to Egypt and regions such as Africa, Europe, and the Middle East, with an estimated annual demand of nearly 200,000 vehicles.
