AVP Infracon, an infrastructure development company, has been awarded two sub-contracts to support two infrastructure projects in Tamil Nadu, India. 

Secured from CDR & Co Constructions, the contract were awarded by the Tamil Nadu State Highways Department in India.  

These contracts include the construction of a bypass to Bagalur Town and the expansion of the Kallakurichi-Tiruvannamalai Road (SH-6). 

The first project involves AVP Infracon constructing a bypass for Bagalur town, spanning from Kothapalli to Jee Mangalam.  

This bypass is a part of the larger project to shift utilities for NH 207 (New NH 648) on an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) basis.  

The value of this sub-contract stands at Rs236m ($2.81m), with an expected completion timeline of one year.

The second contract requires the company to widen and strengthen the Kallakurichi-Tiruvannamalai Road (SH-6), transforming it from a two-lane to a four-lane road.  

The scope of work includes the construction of a central median, minor bridges, and cross drainage works.  

This sub-contract is valued at Rs472m ($5.63m) and is also expected for completion within a one-year timeframe.
