Homebuilder Avant Homes East Midlands has lodged its plans for a new £20m ($24.96m) multi-tenure development in Burbage, UK.
The project, named Chestnut Acres, is subject to approval from Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council.
To be situated off Lychgate Lane, the 4.86-acre development is forecast to provide 82 new houses, featuring a mix of two-, three-, and four-bedroom homes.
The project will include 17 units classed as affordable.
The design of these homes will focus on practicality and energy efficiency, with 11 different house types planned.
Construction is due to commence in early 2025, with the occupancy process expected to start by the latter period of that year.

By GlobalDataAvant Homes East Midlands managing director Ben Felton said: “With easy access to local amenities, Leicester and the wider East Midlands region, we think Burbage is an excellent place for us to build. We know there is a high demand for the type of practically designed, energy-efficient new homes that we build from people living locally or thinking of moving to the area.
“Our development will feature a mix of practically designed, energy-efficient new homes at a range of price points that will enable more people to make their next homeowning step a reality. We now look forward to Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council’s considering our plans.”
In addition, Avant Homes East Midlands has pledged approximately £900,000 in community contributions.
These funds are earmarked for enhancing local services, education, and healthcare.
