Avant Homes has finalised the acquisition of a prime development site near Barnsley, securing 18.5 acres of land situated off Thurnscoe Bridge Lane in England, UK.
Avant Homes West Yorkshire will oversee the delivery of the development.
Pending planning approval, the homebuilder plans to construct 300 energy-efficient homes.
These will comprise two-, three-, and four-bedroom configurations, with an anticipated gross development value of £66.5m ($86.28m).
The planned development will feature a selection of 13 house designs from Avant Homes, encompassing both semidetached and detached residences offered at various price levels.
Among the 300 homes planned, 30 will be allocated as affordable housing units.

By GlobalDataAvant Homes aims to submit development plans for local council approval in September this year and if successful, intends to begin construction by May 2025.
The first occupants at the site are expected to start moving into their new homes by January 2026.

The latest announcement comes after Avant Homes West Yorkshire entered into a £4.3m agreement with Manningham Housing Association to develop Odette’s Point in Keighley.
As part of this initiative, Avant Homes will construct 20 additional homes at the Keighley site.
