The 18,000-seat complex is located at West Century Boulevard and South Prairie Avenue in Inglewood, next to the recently completed SoFi Stadium, the Forum and Hollywood Park.

AECOM is serving as lead designer of the Intuit Dome project, which is being developed with an investment of $1.2bn while a joint venture (JV) of AECOM Hunt and Turner Construction is serving as construction manager.

The project will also include the team’s business and basketball offices, training facility, as well as community and retail spaces.

For the project, AECOM’s core design team includes Anderson Barker Architects, Hood Design Studio, City Design Studio, Walter P Moore, Henderson Engineering and Labib Funk & Associates, among many others.

The solar-optimised Intuit Dome with a visually dynamic and structurally efficient silhouette and a diagrid geometry steel frame is expected to embrace both enhanced environmental performance and fan experience.

The future home of the basketball team LA Clippers, the project is planned to open in time for the 2024-2025 National Basketball Association (NBA) season.

Furthermore, the global technology platform Intuit has signed a 23-year strategic partnership deal with LA Clippers to become Intuit Dome’s exclusive naming rights partner.
