Related Companies and Abington Properties have launched a new 33-storey building at the northern end of Manhattan’s High Line in the US.
Robert A.M. Stern Architects (RAMSA) designed the 384,000ft² brick and steel building, which features 312 rental apartments.
RAMSA said that the L-shaped building encircles its corner site, creating a south-facing garden court defined by a mews-style cobblestone entry drive that runs under the High Line.
Related Companies said the facade features metal casement windows and black metal-framed panels of variegated red brick with black glazed brick accents. The massing of rectangular volumes is divided by four-storey bays of stacked French balconies.
The club floor below features a nearly 4,000ft² private residents-only fitness facility by Equinox, and lounge spaces.
The has three landscaped terraces, including a BBQ terrace, a split-level garden terrace directly overlooking the High Line and an upper-level sun terrace.
