CLS Holdings has submitted a detailed planning application for a 154,000m2 mixed-use development scheme in Vauxhall, London, UK.
The £400m Vauxhall Square redevelopment, which was designed by architects Allies and Morrison, will include two 50-storey residential towers containing 510 flats and 15,231m2 (163,945ft2) of office space.
Regeneration plans for the Vauxhall Square site, in the Nine Elms regeneration area, also feature 3,500m2 of retail, restaurant and cafe space, 416 student units, a 438-bed hotel, a four-screen cinema, 94 affordable housing units and a new hostel for the homeless.
The plan also includes the construction of a large walkway to allow pedestrians to cross the Vauxhall gyratory road system, as well as a major new public square.
CLS Holdings CEO Richard Tice said the project is a key part of the Vauxhall Nine Elms regeneration plans, and will create around 1,000 jobs during and after construction.
"The investment of more than £400m will bring substantial benefits to a wide range of stakeholders and is not dependent on the Northern Line extension," Tice said.
