The project involves the expansion of the Pier B on-dock rail support facility in California, the US.

The project includes the following:

1. Realignment of the existing Pier B Street and Pico Avenue
2. Closure of the Ninth Street grade crossing
3. Expansion of the existing yard from 33ha to 69ha and to 38 storage tracks
4. Construction of five loading and unloading tracks
5. Expansion of inbound-outbound staging tracks to accommodate up to five 3,0480m trains
6. Expansion of tracks from 12 to 48 sets
