France-based company Vinci’s IT hiring rose 4.5% in October 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 0.87% in October 2022 when compared with September 2022.

IT jobs claimed a 4.65% share in the company’s total hiring activity in October 2022, and recorded a 0.36% growth over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Vinci IT hiring in October 2022

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Vinci, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 47.22% in October 2022, and a 70% rise over September 2022, while Computer and Information Analysts claimed a share of 25% in October 2022, and registered a decline of 58.46%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 17.59% in October 2022, a 44.12% drop from September 2022.

Europe drives IT hiring at Vinci

Europe emerged as the leading region in the global construction IT hiring activity in October 2022 with a 92.59% share, which marked a 28.57% drop over the previous month.

North America stood next with 6.48%, registering a flat month-on-month growth. Middle East & Africa was the third leading region with a 0.93% share and a flat growth over September 2022.

Germany commanded a leading presence in the region’s construction industry IT hiring activity with a 23.15% share in October 2022, a 34.21% decline over September 2022. France featured next with a 19.44% share, down 48.78% over the previous month. Netherlands recorded a 19.44% share, an increase of 110% compared with September 2022.

Junior Level jobs lead Vinci IT hiring activity in October 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 86.11%, down by 24.39% from September 2022. Mid Level positions with a 7.41% share, a decline of 38.46% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 6.48% share, down 22.22% over September 2022.
