The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 7.48% in June 2022 when compared with May 2022.
Out of the construction industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 4.05% share in June 2022, recording an increase of 0.02% over the last three-month average share.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 62.55% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of the US’s construction industry during June 2022 over May 2022.
CDM Smith posted 279 IT jobs in June 2022 and registered a rise of 27800% over the previous month, followed by Honeywell International with 245 jobs and a 21.89% growth. Deere with 91 IT jobs and KBR with 86 jobs, recorded an 8.08% decline and a 32.31% growth, respectively, while Komatsu recorded a decline of 32.14% with 76 job postings during June 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in June 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 53.62%, down by 15.01% from May 2022. Mid Level positions with a 33.35% share, registered an increase of 17.71% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 12.99% share, down 14.85% over May 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 0.04%, recording a month-on-month decline of 99.35%.
