IT jobs accounted for a 4.57% share in the industry’s total hiring activity in November 2022, registering an increase of 0.39% over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers Occupations leads by classification in November 2022
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers Occupations emerged as the leading IT occupation in Middle East & Africa with a share of 47.62% in November 2022, a flat growth over the previous month. Database and Network Administrators and Architects came in next, claiming a share of 19.05% in November 2022, marking a 62.5% month-on-month decline. In the third place was Computer and Information Analysts with a share of 17.46% in November 2022, a 15.38% drop from October 2022.

John Swire & Sons posted 18 IT jobs in November 2022 and registered a flat growth over the previous month, followed by Majid Al Futtaim Holding with 8 jobs and an 11.11% drop. Fayat with 5 IT jobs and SNC-Lavalin Group with 4 jobs, recorded a 400% rise and a 300% rise, respectively, while Hatch recorded a flat growth with 3 job postings during November 2022.

Mauritius commanded a leading presence in the region’s construction industry IT hiring activity with a 28.57% share in November 2022, a flat growth over October 2022. United Arab Emirates featured next with a 22.22% share, down 22.22% over the previous month. Israel recorded a 12.7% share, a growth of 60% compared with October 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in November 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 60.32%, down by 37.7% from October 2022. Mid Level positions with a 20.63% share, registered a decline of 31.58% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 19.05% share, up 140% over October 2022.
