The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 11.24% in October 2022 when compared with September 2022.
Out of the construction industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 7.63% share in October 2022, recording an increase of 0.92% over the last three-month average share.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 375% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Mexico’s construction industry during October 2022 over September 2022.
CDM Smith posted 24 IT jobs in October 2022 and registered a rise of 700% over the previous month, followed by Black & Veatch with 12 jobs and a 200% growth. Caterpillar with 10 IT jobs and Deere with 7 jobs, recorded a 233.33% growth and a 600% growth, respectively, while ABB recorded an increase of 300% with 4 job postings during October 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in October 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 43.59%, down by 27.66% from September 2022. Mid Level positions with a 37.18% share, registered an increase of 262.5% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 11.54% share, down 40% over September 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 7.69%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
