The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 2.61% in November 2022 when compared with October 2022.
Out of the construction industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 2.38% share in November 2022, recording a decrease of 0.12% over the last three-month average share.

Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 98.72% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of China’s construction industry in November 2022.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 18.75% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of China’s construction industry during November 2022 over October 2022.
General Electric posted 15 IT jobs in November 2022 and registered a rise of 50% over the previous month, followed by China Vanke with 7 jobs and a 600% growth. Jones Lang LaSalle with 6 IT jobs and Caterpillar with 5 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a 50% decrease, respectively, while China Resources Cement Holdings recorded a flat growth with 5 job postings during November 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in November 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 78.21%, down by 7.58% from October 2022. Mid Level positions with a 16.67% share, registered a decline of 13.33% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 5.13% share, down 20% over October 2022.
