The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 10.87% in November 2022 when compared with October 2022.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Caterpillar IT hiring in November 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Caterpillar, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 44.71% in November 2022, and an 11.76% rise over October 2022, while Computer and Information Analysts claimed a share of 20% in November 2022, and registered a decline of 39.29%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 16.47% in November 2022, a 33.33% drop from October 2022.

Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global construction IT hiring activity in November 2022 with a 45.88% share, which marked a 40.91% drop over the previous month.
North America stood next with 44.71%, registering a 25.49% month-on-month decline. Europe was the third leading region with a 5.88% share and a 54.55% drop over October 2022.
In the fourth place was Middle East & Africa with a share of 2.35% and a month-on-month increase of 100%. South & Central America stood at the bottom of the table with a share of 1.18%, registering a 66.67% drop over the previous month.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s construction industry IT hiring activity with a 41.18% share in November 2022, a 10.26% decline over October 2022. India featured next with a 35.29% share, down 37.5% over the previous month. China recorded a 5.88% share, a decline of 50% compared with October 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead Caterpillar IT hiring activity in November 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 57.65%, down by 44.32% from October 2022. Mid Level positions with a 34.12% share, a decline of 12.12% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with an 8.24% share, down 30% over October 2022.
