Andretti Global, along with US-based developer Bradford Allen and Clark Construction, has celebrated a construction milestone on its new headquarters’ first phase.
The topping-out event celebrated the placement of the last piece of steel atop the new racing and technology headquarters, which forms part of a larger 90-acre campus.
The nearly 400,000ft² facility is said to be more than quadruple the size of Andretti’s current headquarters.
The construction teams are noted to have dedicated 40,000 hours to place more than 3,000 tonnes of steel and 2,755 steel members.
Additionally, they have poured 4,000 cubic yards of footings and grade beam concrete.
The teams are expected to complete more than 9,000 cubic yards of slab on grade and slab on metal deck concrete by the end of this month.

By GlobalDataClark Construction is serving as the general contractor for the project situated in Fishers, Indiana, US.
The design for the headquarters was a collaborative effort between UK-based motorsport design consultant Ridge and Partners and Indianapolis-based international design company RATIO.
Andretti Global chair and CEO Michael Andretti said: “We are so proud of the progress that has been made on our future home and we are honoured to be a part of today’s topping-out ceremonies.
“It is no small feat to get to this point with a project of this magnitude and we could not have done it without our partners at Bradford Allen, Clark Construction, RATIO and Ridge.”
The development is being executed through a strategic phased approach.
The new building will also serve as the hub for the research and development activities of Andretti Technologies.
It will further comprise a fitness centre, walking trails, amphitheatres, employee gathering areas, and expanded dining options.
